Tour de France - Stage 4

Germany's Stefan Schumacher had improved on his time trialing and thus conqured the 29.5-kilometre Tour de France stage around Cholet and move into the race leader's maillot jaune.

Cadel Evans finished 3rd and lived up to his name as the top seeded favourite. He did a great job by extending his lead on GC against his rivals.

My biggest surprise on this stage has to be Damiano Cunego, who finished 17th place.

I guess those training guides were right, its not about going as fast as hard and as long as you can in a time trail race, its about how you pace yourself and make your efforts count!!!

hmmm....i wonder how yellow would smell like?
